Blues will be aiming to get another vital 3 points on the board when Stoke City visit St Andrews.

Things have been looking a lot brighter in Birmingham since Lee Bowyer signed as the new Head Coach. Blues have picked up 7 points from a possible 12 against teams in the top 6 places, with only Watford able to beat us.

In this run, Blues have won both of their home games, if that can be repeated on Saturday, Blues will make a major step towards safety.

The centre back pairing of Harlee Dean and Marc Roberts have been two of the obvious standout players since Bowyer’s arrival, leading to the clean sheet in Birmingham’s last game.

Stoke on the other hand are beginning to enter the stage of having very little to play for. Their chances of getting into the playoffs are on their last legs.

They most recently lost their home clash against Millwall, but the Potters were on a decent run up until they met the Lions.

Nick Powell has been their star player of late, winning 3 successive player of the months for the mid-table side.

You should probably expect a fairly open ended game in this one, stoke are playing with little pressure, and Bowyer has rarely sat back since taking over.

Jon Toral is ruled out for this game with a hamstring injury, however Ivan Sanchez should be ready and available for the Weekend clash.

Stoke have an abundance of injuries, arguably the two biggest absences will be Joe Allen and Tyrese Campbell.

My Prediction: Blues 2-1 Stoke
