This afternoon, Blues announced the loan acquisition of Wolves defender Dion Sanderson. Sanderson will join Blues on a one year loan and should certainly boost the defensive ranks going into the 2021/22 campaign.
In this in-depth article we are going to take a look at his career, play style and some notable facts and stats of Dion Sanderson.
How Will he fit in?
Sanderson is a fantastic out and out defender. He will not hesitate to put his body on the line to keep attackers at bay.
He has impressed everywhere he has gone and with premier League interest, you would think he has been promised first team football under Bowyer.
This could mean that one of Dean or Robbo get pushed out, or the more likely option in my opinion, we move to a back 3 the same way we ended last season.
I would imagine that Dean, Roberts and Sanderson will be the regular back 3, with Pedersen and Gordon making occasional appearances.
